This semester our master’s students are working together with a new practice partner – the HafenCity Hamburg GmbH (HCH).
HCH is responsible for the management of Europe’s largest inner-city development and its primary function is to make available, develop, market and sell pieces of land. HCH responsibility also covers communication, public relations, event management, publicity and promotion of the cultural activities and the arts in this new part town.
During this winter term the master’s students of the International Brand Communication programme will work together with HCH on the development of urban innovations.
For the kick-off meeting our students were invited to HafenCity and got a comprehensive introduction into planning and history of the city since 2000.
It was an exciting experience to follow every step of the planning and discussions of the project, as well as to gain an idea of the latest stage of development.
After the tour through the HCH, our students discussed the details of the project with the press officer of the HCH, Andre Stark.
We are looking forward for the results.
